The newest exhibition at Singapore’s ArtScience Museum is the most dazzling one yet.
Entitled “Future world”, the immersive exhibition explores the creative processes at the heart of art and science and their role in shaping society, bringing an interdisciplinary sense of beauty to life.
A collaboration with teamLab, an award-winning Tokyo-based art collective of “ultra-technologists” including artists, programmers, engineers, CG animators, mathematicians, artchitects, and designers, Future World has certainly exemplified how art and science is so intricately entwined and rooted in each other.
Featuring 15 digital art installations, this digital playground responds to user input and changes according to how you interact with it.

Crystal Universe
In the surreal cosmos of dazzling, digitally projected stars, encounter astrophysical phenomena such as planets, galaxies, and even gravitational waves.

Universe of Water Particles
Be immersed in this seven-metre tall virtual waterfall, comprising of uncountable water particles cascading down the facade of a virtually sculpted rock.

Flutter Of Butterflies Before Borders
Walk through a luminous field of flowers that stretches to no end, and interact with the artistic beauty of the natural world through the touch of science.

Light Ball Orchestra
The kids and kids at heart will have a ball of a time playing with this orchestra of multi-coloured globe balls. Touch any ball to change the colour and sound of the balls around it, creating a resonating effect throughout this dazzling environment.

The exhibition is permanent but will be continually refreshed over time, as will the fields of art and science.
