When you walk alone, you’re never lost. That’s the operating principle behind Homeshake, the recording project of Montreal-based Peter Sagar. You can expect this coolest of cats to perform songs across his expansive four-album discography with his bleary-eyed take on lo-fi R&B and guitar-based indie-pop. Tickets at $60.
Cited as Singapore’s first ever sustainable festival, Garden Beats is back for the sixth year as the music, art, and nature festival that transcends from day to night. Performers include feisty indie band Foals, versatile electronic DJ Viken Arman, rising star Running Touch, all-rounded visionary Crussen, multi-instrumentalists Gioli & Assia and dynamic disco duo The Illustrious Blacks. World Strings Day was conceived with the intention to bring string players of all backgrounds together and celebrate their shared love for music. Revolving around the theme of dance, the performance will be conducted and led by local composer David Loke, who has curated a repertoire of familiar local tunes. Free admission.
