What happens when you mix an awesome heritage mall with an inspired events team and eager attendees ready to have some F-U-N?
The fourth-annual Trick-or-Treat Halloween Hunt, hosted by The Finder Kids and Cluny Court!
The latest edition of this popular event was held 24 October, 2019. And, it had a waiting list nearly as soon as it was announced! As a result, the costumed crowd was our largest ever – more than 300 kids attended.
Watch this video about the successful shindig, then flip through the gallery below to see who came, and what they wore, ate and did!
Cluny Court is where it all went down. Read about its delicious dining options, fab fashion, kids stuff, home goods and newest stores. Oh, and due to the charming mall’s proximity to the Jacob Ballas Children’s Garden at the UNESCO World Heritage Site Singapore Botanic Gardens, it’s an excellent place to have a family brunch.
Each year, regular shoppers at Cluny Court get first dibs on registering for the popular Halloween event, as posters around the mall go up about two months in advance.
That’s The Finder Kids‘ events team in outfits from Awesome Costumes! From left: Editor-in-Chief Sara/Ariel, Marketing Executive Jennith/Moana, Senior Marketing Executive Vanessa/Princess Aurora (a.k.a., Sleeping Beauty), Publisher Eileen/Maleficent (her son is Pikachu), Sales + Marketing Administrator Cynthia, who was a unicorn, and Marketing Head Pat, who was feeling totally batty.
Our speedy Registration crew got people checked in as quickly as possible…
…given that the queue snaked down and around two of the mall’s Level 2 corridors.
Senior Account Manager Jasmine, dressed as a devilish skeleton, helped to lift spirits and answer questions of those in line.
This year, there were a whopping 22 activity or treat stations for kids to enjoy, including this Count-the-Eyeballs Game.
Sure, the event is called a “Trick-or-Treat Halloween Hunt”, but the real emphasis is on the treats! Cluny Court tenants including Hopla! Kids Shoe Shop (shown), Morning June, Capsule by Juliette and others handed out candies and chocolates.
Lest parents worry about cavities, they could head to Cluny Court Family Dental for a colouring activity and info on teeth care.
Rosalie Pompon‘s pumpkin-headed mannequin was a real scream, and the fashion store’s chocolate treats were a fan favourite.
Meanwhile, Big Blue Trunk hosted painting sessions, so that attendees could go home with a wooden Halloween decoration.
Cluny Court’s own team members, who all dressed in black and leopard prints, passed out cool jack-o’-lantern and bat clips in exchange for signing up for its e-newsletter. Easy decision!
As usual, the kids had major #eventgoals: Complete the Activity Map – getting chops along the way – to redeem for a special candy prize.
As we were saying…
One of Cluny Court’s newest tenants, The Children’s Showcase (shown) provided a balloon sculptor, while The Elly Store ran a Witches Hat Ring Toss. Plain Vanilla Bakery created a creepy Eyeball Dig game, while Groovy Gifts & Gorgeous Gifts had kids hunt through a spooky treasure chest for candies and more.
SixSheet Photobooth came with all of its usual excellent bells and whistles, from the LCA Curve machine…
…its pile of photo props…
…and its save-worthy photo strips and share-worthy photo GIFs, which can be retrieved via email then Instagrammed on out!
Our team’s get-ups were a hit, too (thanks again, Awesome Costumes!). Here, The Little Mermaid poses for a photo with a little Super Girl.
And, now for what you’ve all been waiting for: the parade of kids costumes, like these darling mini pumpkins!
We were all safer, thanks to this wee Wonder Woman and Spider Man…
the Paw Patrol’s Chase and two Marshalls plus Super Girl (again) and her Minion mum.
These two DIY Harry Potter and bunny outfits were done very well.
The creativity and craftiness was truly impressive!
Woohoo! It’s Lucky Draw time. What did the winners win?
More than a half-dozen little ones with home with toys provided by The Finder Kids…
Thanks to all of the tenants and partners who contributed their time or talents, and super-huge thanks to everyone who attended this year’s Halloween extravaganza at Cluny Court.
Hope to see you next time!
