The Finder held its inaugural Halloween Trick-or-Treat Hunt this halloween!
Event venue Cluny Court was transformed into a spooky playground for all the reveling kids dressed in colourful and cute costumes. Here are some event highlights!
Did you see our very own Graphic Designer Scott and Associate Editor Hazel dressed as Luke Skywalker and The Fat Lady from the Harry Potter films? They were explaining to the kids and parents about all the fun activities that were going on around Cluny Court!
One of those activities included a lucky draw and in order to win, participants must correctly guess the number of eyeballs in the jar!
Editor Sara and her adorable baby Bubz were super into their Flintstones-inspired outfits. “Bamm, bamm!”
Kids were dashing around Cluny Court hunting down twelve different Boos, cute little ghosts that were waiting to be found. Finding them all meant extra candy!
The Big Blow were so good at Halloween hair colouring and makeup that even the boys wanted in! The kids were also thrilled for the temporary tattoos at Ginger Dots.
The Finder Publisher Eileen spared no effort and came dressed as a Korean princess while her son came as a dinosaur.
At the Monster Mash room, Graphic Designer Michelle was busting moves with the kids to the likes of tunes like Thriller by Michael Jackson.
A baby samurai AND a baby pumpkin? We could not handle the cute!
Our magician performed in the corridors, impressing kids with cool tricks as they went from store to store asking for candy.
The kids were determined to fill up their bags with as much candy as possible from participating trick-or-treat stores like Rosalie Pompon, VSolo, The Fishwives, The Elly Store, CHANGE Lingerie, JEEVES – London’s Finest Dry Cleaner and Mothers En Vogue. And if THAT wasn’t enough, the kids could get EVEN MORE CANDY from Groovy Gifts if they were brave enough to look into the spooky treasure chest.
Face painting and bloody Halloween refreshments were also available at Relish by Wild Rocket.
Plain Vanilla even had a toy skeleton that moved when kids tried to pick candy out of the bowl!
Outside Paper Bag Princess, kids were also colouring their favourite characters.
The friendly staff at Da Paolo Gastronomia were giving away limited edition mummy shaped pizza to hungry kids. We tried them too and they were DELICIOUS.
At 5:45 p.m., Editor Sara announced the winner of our “Guess the Number of Eyeballs in the Jar” lucky jar.
And the winner walked away with a hamper from Da Paolo Gastronomia worth $100! Sweet!
What did you get up to over the Halloween weekend?
