A holistic curriculum, various customisable programmes and a distinctively Australian approach to education.
The Australian International School (AIS) brings you a melting pot of academics, co-curricular activities and culture – all while ensuring your child gets the best schooling experience. These exciting educational opportunities are offered to babies as young as 2 months on up to tykes aged 5 years at AIS’s purpose-built Early Learning Village.
As parents, the well-being of your child will always be of utmost priority. AIS understands the importance of this, which is why its Infant Care program at the Early Learning Village adapts to you and your child’s needs, preferences and routines by creating Individual Care Programs. For instance, in the Infant Care Pod – an intimate space designed specifically for babies and toddlers – this is done through replicating each child’s individual home routines and habits, including sleeping and feeding times.
AIS gives you the liberty to organise your child’s school week in a way that is most suitable for your family, such as being able to choose the number of school days and school hours that your little one is to attend each week. There are also daycare options available for your child outside of the usual school hours. AIS’s extended care programme runs from 3 to 6 p.m. on school days, and it even offers holiday care during school holidays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m..
The Early Learning Village at AIS is built specifically to ensure that little ones have a conducive space that supports each child’s personal learning experience. Each of AIS’s Reggio Emilia inspired classrooms has its own outdoor playground, complete with sandpits and water or creativity project tables as well as sensory play equipment. On top of that, each classroom cluster has a teaching kitchen, mini-library and resource centre. The various resources and open design facilities allow students to be able to easily transition from collaboration to play.
