For the past 25 years, EtonHouse has been a leader in innovative learning programmes and environments that help further your child’s education.
EtonHouse believes that every child should take ownership of his or her learning.
This thinking was the motivation behind EtonHouse’s inquiry-based pedagogy that revolutionised early years schooling in Singapore more than 25 years ago. Today, it continues to be a leader in education services internationally, providing bilingual education pathways from Playgroup right up to High School. It is also one of the few education groups in Singapore with a dedicated in-housetraining and research arm where curriculum specialists and child psychology experts offer ongoing training to staff.
Inquiry-Based Approach
For over 25 years, EtonHouse has been successful in ïmplementing its unique “Inquire.Think.Learn” curriculum that focuses on inquiry-based learning. Through this approach – built around the idea of collaboration – every child is seen as a capable, curious and confident individual. This creative research-based curriculum has developed responsive, engaging and effective learning for its students.
A Bilingual Curriculum
EtonHouse was one of the first preschools in Singapore to introduce a bilingual curriculum. This dual-language programme continues to be fundamental to the EtonHouse education. All of its preschools offer a bilingual programme, with some schools offering the EtonHouse 100% Chinese-only Immersion Programme for the Pre-Nursery to Nursery years. The bilingual programme continues into the primary years, where students can also continue to choose the Chinese immersion track to build upon their foundation for the language. Some other campuses even offer other languages such as Japanese, Malay, Tamil, Hindi and Spanish. EtonHouse’s outstanding inquiry-based bilingual programme helps to prepare students as they progress to its primary, secondary and high schools, through the IB PYP, IGCSE and IBDP pathways.
Unique Learning Spaces
EtonHouse schools have beautifully designed studios and specialist teachers to facilitate everything from storytelling to performance and visual arts. Outdoor and nature education is integral to an EtonHouse education, and its programmes are designed to nurture a respect for the environment.
Global Classrooms
Apart from interacting with students of many different nationalities within its Singapore-based school community, EtonHouse families also connect with students in its other campuses elsewhere in the world such as China and Japan. Through exchange programmes, study trips, summer camps and shared projects, children at EtonHouse benefit from the global classroom environment offered by its network of schools.
