For an educational experience focused on empathy and compassion, explore One World International School’s welcoming school environment.
One World International School (OWIS) is a non-denominational school that welcomes students of all cultures, ethnicities and religions.
Its Early Years Programme is based on an inquiry- and play-based learning approach, tailored for children 3 to 6 years of age, and carried out in intimate and engaging settings. The school has a diverse student and teacher community, representing more than 70 nationalities from six continents, and two campuses, Nanyang and East Coast (Mountbatten).
Internationally Recognised
OWIS’s inquiry-led learning programme based on the IB PYP (International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme) framework includes an Early Years component that is customised for children aged 3 to 6. It allows learning through play and offers an important balance between self-inquiry and structured learning. Learning activities and role-playing opportunities also promote teamwork and collaboration among students.
Personalised Learning
OWIS’s ethos focuses on providing younger learners with an environment where they can develop academically, socially and emotionally. All of its Early Childhood classes for children from ages 3 to 6, have a maximum of 18 students per class, allowing for personalised learning time with teachers and meaningful connections with each student.
Specialist Lessons
OWIS also has specialist lessons for Early Childhood students including Language, Arts, Sports and Music. These lessons are all mindfully intertwined to develop and expose students to various learning experiences, helping early learners discover a range of skills and make them feel confident about themselves and the world around them.
