“I started this company even though I was $150,000 in debt because of what I might even call ‘divine intervention’,” divulges Ramya, who founded Oh My Goodness!
It’s the region’s only gluten-free certified food company that is also halal and certified per SG’s food safety standards – in 2017. “Even now, I feel like I’m doing exactly what I am meant to be doing.”
Ramya is a yoga practitioner and teacher, and claims it is her “go-to, all-in-one wellness practice, from stilling the mind to build-ing strength, stamina and flexibility.” She even missed the brunt of the Covid situation here because she was at a yoga retreat in April. She is similarly obsessed with baths (and any kind of heated soaking or sauna experience) – so much so that she installed a claw foot bathtub in her small apartment. “Throw in some Epsom salts, light some candles, turn on the music on my Sonos sound system and I’ve got the perfect home ‘spa’ experience a la Ramya.
What is Ramya’s every morning ritual? Swing-ing by Tiong Bahru Bakery on the daily. “I know everyone’s name and everyone knows mine,”she says
