After working with a pharmaceutical company in Japan for four years, Jimmy Boey decided to move back to Singapore in 2016 to start his own business.
The result is Jebhealth, an online healthcare marketplace that helps individuals and organizations locate and seek healthcare services. “We list a service with all the information about the provider – from price and even what to expect,” explains Jimmy.
Currently single, Jimmy says he’s a family man at heart. “I’m very close to my niece and nephew, who are 2 and 5 years old, respectively.” He also shares the impact Covid has had on his personal life. “During that period, I have never felt more responsible for my parents. My family was my single source of strength and priority.”
“People around me will know that I love Malay, Indonesian and Mamak food,” says Jimmy of the typically Indian-Muslim dishes served in open-air eateries in SG and Malaysia. Jimmy’s go-to Mamak places? Al- Azhar and Mr Prata. “I also hang out at Lola’s Cafe at Kovan – it’s one of my favourite brunch places.”
