You’ll get to sit back and relax in a plush chair while your pair of wingtips get polished and restored close to mint condition.
Why waste precious time trying to find a spot to park your car when you can hop right into your shopping session?
When you shop at Paragon or 112 Katong, the free valet parking service lets you do just that.
Though, you might want to discreetly drop a tip in the box for using the service.
It’s always good to have another pair of eyes when making purchases, especially for big-ticket items.
Exclusive to Robinsons‘ group visa cardmembers, you can book an appointment with a personal shopper at Robinsons The Heeren or Raffles City.
With the help of a professional, you’ll never have to struggle with a wardrobe malfunction or buy a sofa that sticks out like a sore thumb again, and you’ll always pick out a gift that will impress.
If you don’t mind shelling out some moolah, Marina Bay Sands also offers shopping concierge services strictly by appointment only, which will set you back about $250 per session (maximum three hours).
It includes a complimentary fragrance profiling service by Penhaligon’s upon request, TWG tea boutique experience that comes with a free gift, booking of hair or makeup appointments, and restaurant reservations for a complete experience.
While malls such as Funan and Ion Orchard have complimentary mobile charging stations to juice up your mobile devices, others such as Paragon and Jewel Changi Airport provide power banks for loan to those who cannot live a second without their phone.
The power banks in Jewel Changi Aiport are free for use for up to 12 hours and charges will apply thereafter.
Most of us would be familiar with authorised Sistic agents located across the islands in shopping malls. Here, you can conveniently buy tickets for performances and concerts when you’re mid-way through running errands.
But did you know you could also buy movie tickets?
In the months of June and Dec, ticket sales for Golden Village will be open at Capitol Piazza‘s concierge counter.
For a nominal fee of $5 for 24 hours, you can place small items at the baggage storage at Jewel Changi Airport if you want to free your hands for shopping.
Baggage storage is also available from $10 to $18 for 24 hours to drop off your luggage and other big items while you wait for your flight.
Takashimaya also offers shopping bag deposit at level three, to spare your poor boyfriend from carrying your shopping hauls. The lesser he nags, the happier your shopping sesh will be.
City Square Mall has a first aid kit, blood pressure monitor and thermometer available at its concierge counter if you’re met with an emergency situation.
If you had one too many sweet potatoes from Don Don Donki and burst open a button, fret not, because the mall has a sewing kit on standby to sew back any button or patch up small holes.
Should you require readability assistance, City Square Mall provides magnifying glasses too.
Most malls have baby strollers and wheelchairs on loan in case of emergencies or when the toddler suddenly throws a fit from too much walking.
You might have to pay a deposit fee, but it’s refundable when you return it in good condition.
Find yourself stuck in the mall when it rains? Don’t spend unnecessary cash on getting another umbrella for the passing shower when you can loan an umbrella from the concierge counter.
Some malls may require you to pay a deposit and it is refundable upon return in good condition within the same day or up to three days.
