Ryan’s Grocery has a full-service butchery that offers grass-fed organic beef, free range pork and organic lamb, sourced from Australia and in “Australian” cuts. Plus, it has one of the island’s largest selections of affordable allergen-free, ethically sourced and organic products. Not a meat eater? No worries, its vegan collection will have meat alternatives for you too.
“My son Ryan is allergic to eggs, dairy, soy, nuts, gluten and yeast,” explains Wendy Chia, who started Ryan’s Grocery in 2015 with her husband, Sebastian, and brother, Willie. “Ryan was the inspiration.”

This Singaporean specialty grocery store stocks a wide variety of meats (including grass-fed Australian lamb and frozen turkeys, depending on the season), cheeses and pantry staples at super-great prices!
Tip: Get to either of Foodie Market Place’s two locations – in Tiong Bahru (on Outram Road) and on the East Coast (Tanjong Katong Road) – early, as the stores tend to sell out later in the day. Its stores open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday to Friday, and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the weekends.

Styled on a contemporary Australian butchery, The Butcher offers more than just the usual steak, chops and sausages. Come here for premium meats, an array of Australian and New Zealand delicatessen products, gourmet cheese, pies and bacon and hotdogs and vegetarian options.

Boasting superior Dorper Lamb from Australia, let Oh Deli stock your fridge for Aussie Day. Why is Dorper Lamb so delicious? Because the breed sheds its wool, the result is clean, fresh taste with low aroma. A must try!

Huber’s Butchery is a European-style premium specialty store with one of the widest selections of homemade sausages and hams in Singapore. It’s got a fabulous range of meats as well, including a whole Rack of Lamb, free-range Osso Buco veal, Australian Wagyu Ribeye and Organic Beef Sirloin for roasting.
Bonus: It’s well-stocked with cold cuts, pastas and easy-to-prepare marinated meats for folks who need dinner pronto. Visit the store (at Dempsey Road) or order online. As the butchery promises on its site, “We prepare, pack and deliver your orders as if they were our own, so rest assured that they reach you in tiptop condition.”

Don’t be put off by its name, The Fishwives – founded by Rebecca Forwood – also carries red meat, specifically: PureBlack, Black Angus grass-fed beef from Tasmania (like the tenderloin, above), and free-roaming New Zealand Lamb Backstrap.
It’s most known for its top-notch, sustainably sourced seafood, from Australian King Prawns, Wild Alaska Halibut (wild caught and frozen at sea) to Fresh Whole Akaroa Salmon “reared in the isolated, pristine and picturesque Lucas Bay” in New Zealand.

Culina runs one of Singapore’s largest butchery chains, offering specialty meats, including cuts of beef, lamb, pork, chicken, sausages and burger patties, as well as seafood and other fine foods.
Its premium brands include Black Onyx, Maori Lakes, Francefish (seafood), Herbie’s Spices and San Pellegrino and Louis Jadot (beverages). It’s all-time famous Berskshire Pork – or Kurobuta in Japanese – is revered worldwide for its marbling and flavour.

Claiming to be “Singapore’s Friendliest Premium Retail Butchery”, Meat the Butcher is the kinder, gentler version of some of the larger high-end chains.
And, unlike some of its competitors, it sells crazy-popular Welsh lamb. With the distinction of having a PGI rating (Protected Geographical Indication), the Welsh Lamb’s traceability and safety are of the highest standard (on par with Parma Ham from Italy).
